We’ve designed a 2 & 3 night "Rent the Inn" package that allows you and up to 20 of your guests to take over the inn for one flat rate. The package provides you with exclusive use of the inn and comes with breakfast in the morning and morning housekeeping. Imagine playing host to your family & friends in this beautiful house with 11 bedrooms and baths, and plenty of common rooms to spread out and entertain without having to lift a finger. AUTOGRAPHS & BOOKS – The Weathervane Inn is the home of Patriot Booksellers, a unique book store and reading room for American History lovers. The shelves are filled with the latest biographies and non-fiction books, as well as hard-to-find and out-of-print books, ranging from Colonial America and the Founding Fathers to the Civil War, Victorian Era, and essays and books on current political thought and historiography. Patriot Booksellers also displays many items from the Neil Carter Estate Autograph Collection, including autographed photos from American Presidents from Roosevelt to Bush, as well as leading contemporary musicians and composers, celebrities of the silver screen, and some of the greatest names in the worlds of Sports, Literature, Opera, and the theatre. COMMUNICATIONS - While you enjoy the quaintness of our beautiful and historic Berkshires and inn, please keep in mind that cell phone service up here is spotty at best. To keep you connected, we have installed "outgoing service only" telephones (with data ports) in most of our guestrooms. Local calls are no charge. You will need a calling card, a prepaid phone card, or a credit card to make a toll or long distance call.
